Where are you based & how far do you travel?

I am based in Birmingham, UK. Distance is not a problem, I do travel around the World photographing weddings and portraits along with teaching photography workshops. Even though I specialise in Asian wedding photography, I do cover all genres of wedding photography.

Do you work alongside another photography team?

No. To be able to document a wedding in a beautiful way alongside another photography team doesn’t work. You have 2 teams both trying to do the same job and end up getting in the way of each other as opposed to working with each other. For this reason, I ask for exclusivity and to be the only team photographing your wedding on both sides of the family.

Do you provide filming services?

I specialise in photography only. I do however, work very closely with several companies who specialise only in wedding videography/cinematography who I am more than happy to recommend. I love working with these companies and we work great together, but you are more than welcome to choose a wedding videographer of your choice also.

Do you provide Pre-wedding shoots?

Yes. I love photographing pre-wedding and engagement sessions. These can take place at any location (UK or abroad). It’s a great way for you to get comfortable being photographed and for us to work together before your wedding day.

Do you cover other events leading up to the wedding day?

Yes. I can cover as many events as you require.

How many photographers will be at my wedding?

There will be a minimum of 2 photographers at your wedding unless it is a very relaxed wedding (we can discuss this). This will ensure we have a great coverage for your special day.

How much do you charge for weddings?

Prices will depend on hours of coverage, number of events, albums required etc. For a tailored quote, please do get in touch. Contact me here.

Do you offer consultations?

Yes. Initial consultations can be held in person or via online (Skype or Zoom). It is a great way of getting to know one another and to discuss your wedding in detail. After all, your wedding photographer will be there from the very start of the day all the way to the end documenting a huge milestone in your lives. You want to make sure you have chosen the right photographer for you both, a photographer you can also have fun and get along with.

Can you recommend any other Wedding vendors?

Yes. I've worked in the industry for so many years now that I have a great relationship with other wedding vendors that I now refer to as ‘Wedding Friendors’. I’d be more than happy to refer these to you if you wish. Services they provide range from cinematography, hair & make-up, clothing, jewellery, turban tying, mendhi, DJ’s, catering, decor, wedding planning etc.

When do I need to book you by & how?

Key dates during wedding season are high in demand. To avoid any disappointments, it is better to get in touch at your earliest opportunity once your date has been finalised. It is not uncommon to have clients who book me as their wedding photographer 2 years in advance. A signed contract and a retainer fee of 50% is required to secure your date. The remaining 50% of your contract fee is to be settled no later than 28 days before your wedding.

Do you take control of the wedding day?

I photograph the day as it is unfolding so that when you look back on your wedding photographs, it truly shows all emotions and is pure in documentary. I would say atleast 90% of my coverage is relaxed and photojournalistic. The remaining 10% are the parts you would like me to control ie. posing your individual portraits, family pictures and couple portraits. Do take a look at the wedding albums to see full wedding stories.

When do we get our edited wedding images?

In peak season, I always aim to have your edited wedding images and initial wedding album design within 6-10 weeks.

Who designs the wedding albums?

After your wedding, once the images have all been edited, I personally design your wedding album. I have just photographed your wedding, I know who your dearest friends are and I know which family members mean the world to you. Let me design you the ultimate wedding album (the same way I would design my own wedding album) that flows beautifully and tells the full story. Once I have designed your album, you can make amendments to the design by all means.
